Our hydrosols are handcrafted over a copper distiller in small batches. Mint is cooling and calming for a hot summer day. Use as a room spray or on your body to cool a sunburn/ bug bites. Chocolate mint grows wild on our farm as Ashfield was the largest producer of mint in the mid 1800s. The mint roots have spread through the waterways and continue to thrive on site ever since then! Quite the historical feat for a plant which was once cultivated and now runs wild in our wetlands.
What is a hydrosol? 
Hydro means water and sol means sun. Hydrosol is the steam which condenses during an essential oil distillation of the plant. This condensed steam collects and naturally contains some essential oils throughout  making it a gentle, safe face / room spray.
