WHO WE ARE
At Sweet Birch Herbals, we strive to bring balance to your life through the healing power of plants. We are a community herbalism center located on three acres in the hills of Western Massachusetts, and we grow and process medicinal herbs with organic no-till practices. Our products are handcrafted with care and intention, aimed at bringing more balance into your daily routine. Our goal is to empower individuals to take charge of their own health by providing workshops, consultations, farm tours, and access to our self-service apothecary. We are a woman-owned business dedicated to the land, our staff, and the community.
WHAT WE DO
The energy and presence of each herbal remedy begins by how it is grown and processed into its final form. Our hope is to provide high quality products and services that assist healing on all levels. Everyone deserves equal access to herbal medicine, that is why we offer educational workshops on how to build your own home apothecary. If ever our services are not within your financial means, please contact us to work out other options. Our goal is to leave this Earth in better shape than when we arrived, weaving beauty into the work we do as herbalists, living in alignment with the cycles of nature.
APPRENTICESHIP
Cultivating resiliency, relationship, rituals and connection with the cycles of nature. The apprenticeship is one Saturday / Month from 10am-4pm, from March - November. Join me on my homestead in the hilltowns of Western Massachusetts to intensively study local medicine and wild edibles. We'll discover how each season correlates with the plants available for holistic health and eating what nature provides. Beginning late winter we'll meet each month to learn about seasonally available plants and how to incorporate them into our home kitchens.
HERBAL CSA
We take a holistic approach to healing and wellness by honoring the natural cycles of the seasons. Our herbal remedies are made with the highest quality ingredients and tested for safety and efficacy. We offer a yearly subscription to our Five Element Herbal CSA Box, which includes five deliveries throughout the year, each containing carefully products made in our apothecary from herbs in our gardens. Our goal is to provide our customers with the tools they need to maintain optimal health and vitality.

At Sweet Birch Herbals, I believe that the path to wellness starts with empowering individuals to take control of their health. I am passionate about helping people find natural ways to support their bodies and address underlying imbalances. As a clinical herbalist, I offer in-person and virtual sessions tailored to each person's unique needs. Together, we'll develop a plan to help you achieve your wellness goals and feel your best.
FLOWER CSA SHARE
Starting in May, when the tulips and daffodils say when, my sister, Leah, and I are teaming up to offer a monthly Flower CSA Share that will run through September. We’re starting small and only offering 10 shares (for now). Pick-Up: First week of the month (days/times TBD) at the Sweet Birch farm store or Tuesday Market in Northampton, MA. Includes: A 32oz jar bouquet of seasonal blooms, featuring a few medicinal allies for good measure PLUS a bonus bouquet late July when the fields are at their peak.
Additionally, we’ll be selling smaller bouquets at the barn as blooms become available all season long!
