You're invited to visit Sweet Birch Herbals for an afternoon filled with fun activities. Meet farmers, Hannah & Andrea who tend the animals and gardens in the beautiful hills of Ashfield. Bring your friends & family for a picnic and partake in all the creative homesteading projects that bring us joy. This is a kid-friendly event. We look forward to sharing this piece of paradise with you!
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
1:30AM-12PM: Welcome & Baby Goat Playtime
12PM-1PM: Homemade Tulsi Rose Ice Cream, BYO Picnic, Iced Tea, Lavender Lemonade, Elixirs, Ghee Tasting at the farm store
1PM-2PM - PYO (Pick your own) bouquet & design a seed packet to take home filled with seeds from our farm.
2PM-3PM - Herbal Garden Tour & Medicinal Plant ID with Hannah, community herbalist /alchemist (bring a notebook!)
3PM-3:30PM - Goat Milking Demo with Andrea, farm artist
3:30PM: Closing (Shop is Open until 5pm)
Farm Store will have fresh herbs for sale, ghee, tinctures, notecards, maple, honey, t-shirts, farm inspired artwork + more!

WINTER WELLNESS SERIES

Winter is a yin, inner time to reflect and slow down. The foods and herbs we consume should nourish our bodies and support healthy immune function. Come learn how to eat seasonally for the winter months with demos in my kitchen. We’ll learn how to prepare bone broths, immune syrups, mushroom teas, ferments, and adaptogen packed sweet treats. Each class will have a slideshow, which you can download after, paired with live demos and Q&A. Take your health into your own hands with kitchen medicine! Hope to see you in my kitchen soon.
