BEING AND BECOMING
with Jannie Dziadzio
(11am opening circle + potluck lunch)
Welcome to Rooted and Rising! We will deep dive as only a circle of women can, arriving in our newness with each other and leaving with a sense of deep connection and sisterhood. This first gathering is a sacred, spacious healing journey and exploration. An opportunity for seeing each other and feeling seen as women rising strong. It’s a time for deep listening and vulnerable sharing with kindred spirits, where we may choose to take the risk of being who we truly are. It’s a place for Being and Becoming.
Jannie Dziadzio is an Intuitive Transformational Coach and Holder of Space for individuals, couples and organizations committed to conscious relating. SING YOUR SACRED SOUL SONG:
RISING UP AND RAISING OUR VOICES
with Sulis Sunrise
In this workshop we will journey to the places that our voices have been stuck or quiet and explore our addiction to the patriarchy through writing. Then I’ll guide us to gently open our 5th vocal chakra through toning with the crystal bowls, allowing us to touch that place inside that wants to release any anger or frustration from millennia of being stuffed down. Using our breath and movement we’ll release old patterns of holding back and tap into our inner resilience and resonance. We will find our own sacred soul song inside and allow it to be released to the four winds and held in the container of our sisterhood where we will integrate the gems we have mined in this experience.
Sulis Sunrise is an ordained priestess of the Temple of Sophia. Creating experiences with dance, movement and bodywork for 20 years. Formerly teaching evening programs at Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, now Sulis practices CranioSacral Therapy and teaches Reiki in Shelburne Falls assisted by the harmonics of crystal singing bowls and gong. She is dedicated to helping women free their voices with Sing Your Sacred Soul Song Workshops. She also priestesses through the tea ceremony at the Tulsi Rose Garden which she birthed through a vision born in 2014. She believes coming into our bodies through breath and movement is key for healing trauma. She is available for individual and group healing sessions and writes about these things in her blog at SulisSunrise.com
MOVING IN GRACE: BIRTHING OUR EMPOWERED PURPOSE
with Hilary Lake
In this journey of empowerment with Rooting and Rising we are now called to embody our truth through both sounding and movement and live more fully into our purpose. Moving in Grace is a mindful embodiment journey that invites us to cultivate resilience as we allow our bodies to unwind and our minds to reflect from a place of curiosity. This workshop will offer guidance to connect our body systems with the Earth systems through the elements (Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Ether) as we reflect on how we want to rebirth the knowing and embodiment of our purpose through the Rooted and Rising Series.
We will explore being in our embodied sensual selves as women who are empowering each other to express our full body truth and support each other to InBody the Change that we wish to be together. We will let go of trying and rest in knowing we are enough and allow this knowing to guide us towards what nourishes, nurtures and enlivens us as we bring the light of our awareness into the darkness of the mystery.
Hilary Lake is an expressive arts community minister who spans her ministry across diverse communities by bringing her embodied awareness and expression into relationship with the land and all who she meets. WOMEN'S SELF DEFENSE FOR DEALING WITH THE PATRIARCHY WITHIN OUR PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS
with Kathrin Woodlyn Bateman
*this workshop may take place at her farm in Chester, MA
As we work to unwind the patriarchy and bring our culture into more balance we still are dealing with the strong impact of this pattern whether it is with a male partner, or males in other relationships such as friendships, co-workers, bosses, employees, authorities, politicians, etc. Understanding some key patterns of shame, rage, fear, and control that males are socialized with can make a huge difference in staying present with ourselves and in reality so that we can choose a response that is in alignment with our truth and supports our sovereignty, safety and health.
Because of our own gender cultural programming it’s sometimes especially difficult to remain un-caught in the crazy-making behavior we experience from some males because it’s so foreign to us, hard to understand and we’ve been trained that it’s normal. During difficult times it is remembering tools that support us and including our female allies, that help us shift outcomes and heal the relationship or leave it with the health of body and soul as intact as possible.
I’ve always known I would be a healer this lifetime as I have for so many lifetimes. Most of my childhood was spent in the woods and as an adult, farming by myself, I often worked past my physical limits and was catapulted into other dimensions in the same way that vision quest deprivations create altered states. This happened several times a week for many years and changed me irrevocably. It is my joy to live surrounded by beauty. My goal is to live from my center in each moment; from my truth, and to embody my personal divinity and power. Like many healers there is an untamed primal wildness within me that rises from living in more than this dimension, and constantly receiving information from many unseen sources.
WISE WOMEN WEALTH SECRETS:
THE KEY TO BECOMING FINANCIALLY FREE WOMEN
with Brieanna McKinnon
Women have a long history of not having access to money. It wasn't until 1975 that women could apply for a line of credit without having a man co-sign. And, up until 1978 women could legally be dismissed from their jobs for becoming pregnant. Still today, nearly 2/3 of minimum wage workers are women. This history is in our cells, it's in our bones. We have been raised to ask for less and expect less.
Becoming a Resilient Warrior Woman means dismantling this old programing. When women have money we share it with our families, neighbors and strangers in need. In this workshop, we become deeply rooted in our self worth, and discover how to rise in our capacity to generate more income. Join us to shift your energy, heal from generations of poverty consciousness and increase the flow of abundance to you. You will learn how to stop being drained emotionally by money stress and leave feeling empowered to take action and advocate for your healthy financial future.
Brie is an advocate for women. The aim of her life’s work is to nourish the matriarchy. She uses a combination of Theta Healing, Feng Shui, Astrology, Business and Marketing Mentorship to empower women to grow as leaders and live their best, most abundant life.
LOVE HEALS: THE MAGICAL HEALING OF ESSENCE
with Gabrielli LaChiara
We will come together with you in healing and in love. We will land and bask ourselves in the Kwan Yin channeling as we glean perspective, restore hope and heal with one another. Our journey into the sacred heart space will continue as we dive deep into the layers of our Beings and minds in a safe container. This warrior woman workshop is designed to awaken and encourage new internal paradigms that shift consciousness into higher vibrations. Come and journey - It feels so required at this time that we heal ourselves and take the time to nourish from within - in community together.
We are living in a time of great upheaval; as the world around us continues to be chaotic and violent on a local, national, and global scale, how do we remain embodied and guided by our essence? How, when we are being challenged by such profound outside forces, do we continue to awaken to our individual potency?
Join and explore these questions as you learn tangible tools designed to align and awaken to your individual potency as a warrior woman. This healing journey will illuminate and confront the myriad systems of oppression that beleaguer us as a global community in a sacred, safe container that honors each individual’s particular identities and contexts that might inform or impact healing.
In particular, this workshop will draw from the Infinity Healing Practice, founded by Gabrielli LaChiara, and may include some of the following tools:
How to shift, clear, activate and move energy; learning the power of energy alignment
Engaged Knowing: an amazing practice to access the innate intelligence of your body.
Living in the Question: activations and clearings to ignite shifts in awareness. We will explore the ways we can use activations as a gateway to insight and perception.
Neural Pathway Exercises: Brain Gym and Neural-Organizational Technique are simple tools that strengthen the nervous system and reset the fight, flight, freeze response.
Gabrielli LaChiara has been facilitating intuitive healing for almost 30 years with individuals, groups, families, and educational settings. She inspires to awaken and heal the healers. She's developed a healing modality called Infinity Healing Practice and is the founder of the Infinity Healing School, a training program for anyone interested in the esoteric, neural pathway, and energy healing practices. Gabrielli is known to bring a spark of life, magic and joy to everything she does.
POWER: THE WATER ELEMENT AND BEING POWERFUL
with Kendra Renzoni
In this workshop we will take a look at power, what it means philosophically, through a yoga and Chinese 5 Element lens, and what that means for our own lives through discussion and inquiry. Then we will do a physical practice recruiting the watery stream of massively strong and powerful muscles that run from the soles of our feet, along the backs of the legs, parallel to the spine, across the top of the skull like a pair of constellations and ending at the insertion point of our eyebrows. This practice is called "Foundation Training," and is designed to strengthen the "Back -Core" where the water meridians run and the power in our body lies. When we strengthen the back core, we recruit the muscles that initiate power from the center of our body and we tap into a natural strength. When we move from our center, we also resolve lower back pain and injury, sacroiliac pain and injury, hamstring tightness and injury, pelvic floor issues, hip limitations, and all the other problems that happen upstream like shoulder impingement, upper back tension, neck pain and trouble with subluxation in the cervical spine. After, we will lay down and do some deep tissue work on ourselves using LaCrosse Balls and Yoga Tune-Up Balls. This will release tension, open up the fascial net, release cramped or spasmed muscles, create freedom, more range of motion, openings, and be an experiential anatomy lesson!

She teaches alignment, strength within mobility, and experiential understanding of the anatomy and emotions within the body.
FALL EQUINOX MEDICINE WHEEL TEACHINGS AND LODGE
with Rose Khalsa
(FULL DAY 10AM-5PM)
The Inipi or Sweat Lodge is a Ceremony for purification and healing. We will close out the series of Rooted and Rising with a full day of Earth Medicine and transformation.
In the morning we will gather for teachings on the Sacred Medicine Wheel and in the afternoon, we will do the Pipe Ceremony before the Lodge, which is the Ojibwa tradition. This day we will be learning what it means to walk The Red Road. The ceremony of the sweat lodge is an opportunity to go in inside, into the darkness and silence with prayer and song. It is a safe place for claiming your own true divinity and power.
It is traditional to bring a small gift of tobacco for the Lodge keeper and the fire keeper. We will have some to offer if you forget. Please bring a gluten-free potluck dish to share.
Rose Khalsa will be sharing her wisdom and teachings. She is a Sundancer and Pipe Carrier in the Lakota and Ojibwa tradition. Her elder was Grandmother Lilian Pittawanaquat. She is the Director of The Polarity Center & Shamanic Studies and has been in practice and teaching for over 40 years.
